I own the strategy for API Management on IBM's cloud platform. That means I'm responsible for the platform working, being secure, and not getting in the way of the teams using it. I work with product, engineering, and SRE to make sure we're building the right thing and running it right.

I led the technical vision for launching API Connect as a SaaS service on AWS—so customers could focus on their business APIs, not running a platform. I figure out what cloud-native API management should look like and work with the team to build it. Talking to customers and internal teams to make sure we're solving real problems.

I kept IBM's cloud offerings running and made them better. Built monitoring and infrastructure tooling that actually helped. Did consulting work with internal teams launching new products—helped them avoid the obvious mistakes and get to production faster.

As UK lead I am primarily responsible for ensuring the SaaS offerings continue to operate without issue during the UK business day, leading a team providing operational and customer support and platform improvements. My other responsibilities include providing consultancy to other teams moving to the cloud and working closely with the development teams to ensure a smooth transition from development, through test to production.
