I tried making an interactive music adventure thing with ATproto and am reminded I know nothing about music

I’d say cost is a big factor? I’ve been rolling the whole thing myself for bench marking and testing but there’s a big difference between local testing and on the cloud. I’ve been able to do it because I’ve got 600 in credits but I’ve burnt through 1/3 of it in just a couple weeks.

Does anyone remember the Stovey limit? I’m doing down a rabbit hole of concurrency throughout optimization and I think I hit the limit which might be really good or not quite enough depending on what a healthy rate limit is based off that

the problem is usually that a relay will list all repos on a pds to find new actor repos and start ingesting them. I just don't know the logic on relays on how often or when they'll do it (haven't looked at that code for a while)
