If I have a tab open on a GH issue/PR but it's not an active tab, and there is new activity in it, @github.com will not send me a notification and I will miss it. In the case it does, it is still marked as read. I only realize I missed stuff when I manually go over PRs to check their status.

Expectation vs reality
