Cool fractal

  • Some crazy broccoli/cauliflower relative with pointier crowns displaying some beautiful self-similarity.

GLM-5.3-flash put a genuinely clever joke in my placeholder text. I wonder how original it is.

  • A WIP personal website navigable via a large sierpinski's triangle. The placeholder text is an essay titled "On Fractals", saying "self-similar things are the only honest thing to build a personal site out of".

  • Bilbo Baggins with the ring meme. After all... why not? Why shouldn't I register another domain name?

And we're back! Got some totally intentional adversarial migration practice in after deleting all my DO droplets. Big thanks to @pds.dad for pdsmoover.com 's backup/restore features. I was a little blown a way by how trivial it was, took me <10m What a fantastic service to the community.

Amazing first #protospiel experience this weekend! Full of good times, awesome board games, and great people. Really cool to meet some publishers and show off @lipstick-lemondrop.bsky.social 's STELLAR paint jobs on these fleets.

  • 4 painted space fleets sit on and around a Star Gambit board. A (textured!) rusty fleet with orange highlights battles a grey-green armada.
  • A close-up of a few of the ships on the board.
  • A close-up of one of the fleets sitting off the board. It appears to be made of ice/snow and is arranged in a tight triangular formation.
  • Another off-board fleet, painted to look overgrown with vines and flowers.
