Carl's Doomsday Scenario (Dungeon Crawler Carl)

Dinniman, Matt

9/10

This one I read even faster than the previous one, being on holiday helps. Lots of fun. I don't know how to describe it, it's not the most original of plots, but it's so enjoyable! Maybe it's the way the characters behave.

Really fun and engaging book. I could not stop reading it. It's well written and quite sarcastic. The main character is lovable and the side characters are also good.

It's not bad, but there's no substance to it, no challenge for the main character, no risk. A bit boring to be honest. The acting is not bad. It would be entertaining if it was the first superhero movie ever.

Entertaining movie. The dialogues felt a bit generic and unrealistic, but the acting was good and the production and costumes were amazing. I enjoyed it!

I didn't know anything about the lore before watching it, and I quite liked it. It's one of those strange movies, it gave me vibes to "triangle"

It's a good book, but I find a lot of things mentioned should be just how professionals behave.

If I had to summarize:

- be professional
- be kind

Besides that, there are many examples scenarios, and good advice. I feel like after reading "The manager path" it didn't add much value. If you are an engineer and you are thinking whether to read the manager path or this, I would go for this, as it's more targeted to a developer audience, the tips and tricks still apply if you are going in a managerial path.

Beautiful book. It's less sci-fi than I expected, and instead the sci-fi is more of an excuse to be a deeply philosophical, kinda feminist book. Quite the surprise.
