Scope the new space explorer coming in the next HappyView release. 👀 #atproto

  • The HappyView dashboard on the new "Data > Spaces" page. It lists 4 spaces: Team Chat, Private Notes, Studio Claims, and Community Forum. Each displays the space's name and description, type, creator, URI, and creation date.
  • The HappyView dashboard on the new "Data > Spaces" page. It shows the details for the Community Forum space. This includes the space's name and description, type, creator, URI, creation date, authority, read policy, write policy, and app access. It also shows a list of the space's members with their access level, a list of the record collections in the space, and a button to "Request Access" to the space.
  • The HappyView dashboard on the new "Data > Spaces" page. It shows the dialog for requesting access to the space, which requires selecting what you're requesting access for (space vs user), a reason for your access request, and a duration for the access.
  • The HappyView dashboard on the new "Data > Spaces" page. It shows the space details page, but with the records section open after requesting access. The records section shows a list of the records in the space, which can be filtered by collection type or by author.

Am I Building the Torment Nexus? I built a tool that lets HappyView operators browse the contents of atproto spaces, and the moment I saw it working I got a pit in my stomach. Here's what the community had to say about whether it should exist, and what it needs to look like if it does.
