Sometimes, I feel humbled by the difference in level between myself and people I look up to here. And then I meet a full team of senior engineers that failed to detect a memory leak in its app observability for months.

I'm always amazed how I feel 3 years late when reading US-based engineers podcasts, blogs, be it on AI-assisted coding, platform engineering, Cloud familiarity, system design... And on the way around if I compare us with other companies around us in local conferences, we feel... in front ?

Interesting Analogy. Having arrived in the field when Java was already roaring, despite having learned C and Pascal as a student, I didn't figure as much. 🤔
