Telegram changed the UI in desktop and added all these floating, overlapping bits, like in iOS 26, and I find it very confusing. Everything gets visually mixed.

Hear me out: an achievement platform built on atproto. Like in video games but you can apply it everywhere. I wanted to build something like that since 2010 and @kinduff.com passed on it. Don’t be like him, make it happen.

Followed the lead of great minds like @jamie.schembri.me and @joel.drapper.me and moved to @eurosky.social. It was that or using a Raspberry 2 again and I didn’t feel like.

I said it once but I'll do it again: reaction gifs should be organic. People making them on purpose, like celebrities, football players and all that, is lame, nefarious and should be punished and shamed. They should be hand-picked from movies and shows and other places in the wilderness.

Somebody with a net worth of 5,5 billion USD according to Forbes decided that this was a good title to write in the WSJ. I don’t use Cloudflare at all (for no reason, until now). Layoffs with 30% revenue growth shouldn’t be allowed, it’s fucking corporate greed. Eat a bag of dicks, Matthew.

Cloudflare’s CEO explains why despite over 30% revenue growth, they are laying off 20% of staff. He argues that there are 3 types of workers; builders, sellers and measurers (middle managers, legal, HR, operations, etc). AI makes it possible to automate the last group and he expects everyone will

We live in some messed reality. I’m having internet installed in the new place and I’m getting calls from random numbers to handle it, and I’m constantly checking online if they’re scammers and avoiding to give them information or just use the word “sí” (“yes” in Spanish).

I don’t care if we’re coworkers or even friends. If you do this to me, I will yeet your ass to the sun. Disrespectful crap.

A person I know (and who is? was? a good professional al) left an AI-generated comment under my LinkedIn post. Full-on AI slop. I asked: why do this? He replied. It’s because of “engagement.” People are burning their profession al reputation, paying for AI tools, for nothing

I used a couple of film rolls on the @rubyconitaly.bsky.social. I expect to have them developed in the next days, or... months. Hopefully something nice will come out of it. Also I'm thinking about writing something about it. Was pretty cool.

Most people don’t want money, they just want to not worry about stuff.

Next week I’m going to meet in person a bunch of people from the interwebs. It’s 2002 all over again.

Likes are cool, but, can we have a way to display that we hate stuff too?

Bluesky network1mo ago

Hot-dayum, this is so cool.

More on Strandfall, the solarpunk orienteering larp I'm making with @x13n.com! Some fun new photos and UI mockups in here, plus I'm trying out a new thing with the "solarpunk" angle, which sounds better and more descriptive than "low tech" or "retro-tech".

I remember a D&D campaign that I specially enjoyed time ago. Everyone in the party thought my character was a huge ass barbarian Minotaur, but it was just an illusionist gnome with a shit tone of spells and artifacts. It led to a lot of funny situations until he was caught.

It’s not about sharing AI generated slop art. If you appreciate it it’s up to you. The problem is to share AI slop saying it’s not. Fucking tired of the “source: NASA” bullshit. Just stop lying.
