have we landed on a shared lib for `content` blocks in @standard.site? iirc @leaflet.pub has a blocks system but it's not a package others can use easily and I haven't seen any others out there HTML <=> blocks is the goal (please don't make me build this I do NOT have time)

a switch to meta tags feels right, I think (fixes an issue with atproto link tags violating the spec)

one idea (though it's really only working around the 'DIDs aren't hostnames' issue) would be to use <meta> tags instead of <link>. that's how non-standard-but-widely-understood things like OG images are done, after all feels like the sort of thing to fix now, before problems become widespread
