So. Moved to @eurosky.social. Pretty smooth, took about 25 minutes which includes mopping up a dropped bottle of water and saving the wrong password (PEBKAC).
Fantastic day at @rubyconitaly.bsky.social today! Delightful talks, memorable conversations, and perhaps most importantly, the world’s foremost ruby community dog/mascot melting the most jaded of our hearts. Happy to have met and re-met so many great folks!

So. @rubyconitaly.bsky.social is coming up! Who that I know is going to be there, so I can spend half the trip mustering up the courage to say hello?
@mackuba.eu Hey man, didn't you write a labeller or two in Ruby? I know you've done a lot of work but I can't seem to find this stuff. Probably a me problem.
I gave @tangled.org another look. At first I was sceptical because I wasn't sure about hosting repos on PDS, but it turns out... that's not how it works. And the nomenclature is easily figured out. I think I like it. Let's see where it goes.
I think we need to separate what we want when we talk about moving away from GitHub. Hosting repos is a solved problem, and there are several viable options for business. For me I’ll miss the project discovery aspect most, but that has required more curation since LLMs everywhere anyway.
