Just paid my taxes from here 😔

  • First person view from a quad on a green lawn with a typical red and white Swedish house in the background. Surrounded by green pine trees.

Another great day on the water, Still in Sweden :) 📍 Stora Skottjärnet, SE #GrainSocial https://grain.social/profile/did:plc:pryrbnfbguabqt3arwc6c56a/gallery/3mkb3vwfgmo2y

  • A lone figure fishing from a white canoe on a calm lake, silhouetted against a wide sky with dramatic cloud formations. Dense conifer forest lines the horizon. The low sun reflects off the rippling water in the foreground.
  • A still forest lake perfectly mirrors a stand of tall pines, spruces, and bare-branched birches along a rocky shoreline. Shot on a clear day with an almost cloudless blue sky.

The new carousel layout is terrible, but the discourse is equally so. Having said that: obviously a layout like this one would have been the move.

  • A message with a grid of 4 images, the last one overlayed with “+17”.

  • Heron app installed on iOS.

Helping some new friends in Sweden cut down some trees today 😵

  • A man in a blue hoodie cutting a branch off of a fallen birch tree with a saw.

Canoeing in Sweden 📍 Stora Skottjärnet, SE #GrainSocial https://grain.social/profile/did:plc:pryrbnfbguabqt3arwc6c56a/gallery/3mju7pvnuiz2p

  • View from the bow of a green rowboat passing a lichen-covered granite cliff face topped with pine trees, under an overcast sky.
  • First-person view over the bow of a green rowboat crossing a dark, rippling lake, with a pine-forested shoreline and rocky outcrops ahead under cloudy skies.
  • Selfie of two people canoeing on a lake, both smiling and dressed for cold weather, with a pine forest along the shore behind them.

The letters for Amazonia’s new logo were extracted from satellite images of the river itself 🤯 Credit: Future Brand

  • Title card for Amazonia, featuring a custom logotype whose letterforms were drawn from satellite imagery of the Amazon River itself, set against an aerial sunset view of the river and its forested islands.
  • Satellite imagery showing the river sections from eight Brazilian states, Amazonas, Acre, Pará, Roraima, Tocantins, Rondônia, Maranhão, and Amapá, each image revealing the specific meander or bend that was traced to form a letter in the Amazonia logotype.
  • The Amazonia logotype overlaid on an illustration by artist Winny Tapajós, densely packed with Amazonian imagery including tropical flora, wildlife, traditional architecture, and regional foods, all rendered in vivid folkloric style against a deep green background.

I know it's been said already, but @davidimel.com's FilmFeed on @surf.social is absolutely beautiful! I'm *joyscrolling* through the look tab, and enjoying every second of it

I'm giving @surf.social a try and made a feed for my favorite show: Jet Lag. It's not quite perfect (a few unrelated posts are slipping through) but I do really like Surf so far!
