TIL 🤓 @sentry.io's SDK patches console.log by default to create breadcrumbs. This can easily lead to accidentally leaking user data (in case you log user objects.. for some reason) (TLDR: use e.g. 'beforeBreadcrumb' hook in Sentry.init to filter/modify problematic crumbs) 🧵

This motivated me to give @zed.dev a try. And I think its really good! Of course I miss some stuff from VSCode/Cursor but I'm also very happy with some other things! E.g. their vendor agnostic approach to AI; everything's fast as fuck; ootb ollama & vim (no easymotion tho 🥲)! Excite!
