The next version of Astro Editor will have a new component inserter which shows "MDX Components" as forms like this. Also: sneak peak at the experimental "Auto-add component import" at the bottom there!

I’ve just thrown together a little tool to help Claude write entries to my @obsidian.md day note. Wrote some notes on it here: danny.is/notes/claude...

Almost done with this iOS / macOs app which lets me record voice notes from my phone/watch/CarPlay and puts them and their transcripts on my mac. Next up: Using jev and/or claude to sensibly turn them into files in my Obsidian inbox.

  • Screenshot of a Mac app called “Voicepad Dev” with three panes. On the left, a sidebar shows an Inbox with 37 items, status filters (Waiting, Processed, Failed) and devices: iPhone (23), CarPlay (5), Apple Watch (7) and Mac (2). The middle pane lists voice recordings from 13–15 October with columns for device icon, recording time, length, a processed tick, number of parts and sync time. The top recording, made on an Apple Watch at 22:49 and 34 seconds long, is selected. The right pane has audio playback controls and its transcript, which reads: “Okay, this is me running a little test here to see if this comes into the new Mac App. So I’m recording this on my watch away from my phone at the moment… This is me just holding my wrist up and talking into my wrist like I’m James Bond.” A second paragraph notes it was appended to while disconnected.
