Daniel Di Mascio

I specialise in the pathing and diagramming of InterCity train services on the East Coast Main Line. My role involves close collaboration with internal departments and relies heavily on relationships with external bodies such as Network Rail and other stakeholders. I strive to deliver robust and operationally efficient train plans that serve passengers to the best of my ability and meet strict industry timescales.

As an apprentice within the Operations Planning team, I expanded my knowledge of railway operations with a particular focus on timetabling, stock diagramming and traincrew planning. Through spending time within Performance, and the Service Delivery Team, I gained an understanding of how departments interact and work together to deliver the timetable and train service.

Fortunate to spend some time shadowing the Operations Controller desk to get some first hand experience of running a railway.
