Served as the technical lead on the Supreme Court oral arguments archive through several technology transitions, and leading to convert a limited streaming archive to a more open form, using formats such as MP3 files and permissive Creative Commons licensing.

Serve as a community-based monitor watching local transportation routes for any dangerous or suspicious actors (criminals, ICE/CPB) who may threaten the members of the local Greeley Elementary School community.

Served as the president of the local HOA for several years, implementing new infrastructure such as app-based access control, installing a Ubiquiti security system, and liaising with other HOAs and groups in the local area.

Regularly serve as an election judge / poll worker in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood. Duties include everything necessary to run a local in-person polling place: preparation and training before the election, setting up the polling place, running the polling place, closing polls, and securely transporting physical election materials to the Board of Elections.
