I think Claude Code's "permission-mode" is fundamentally flawed 1. Plan 2. Accept the plan, it starts work 3. Abort, because it did something stupid. 4. Set it to plan mode and tell it what was stupid 5. It keeps editing 6. I abort it, "WTF" 7. "You're right..." I want to iterate on the plans
Bluesky's feed should show grass at the bottom of the screen. - The longer you scroll. The more the grass will grow - Until the point where the grass is so high that it reads "Go out and touch grass!" where you can dismiss it. On by default, deactivate in settings.
CodexBar is pretty cool to monitor LLM usage. What I like best, is that it doesn't require access to tokens and keychains - it can use the already authenticated CLI tools instead.
Any Claude Code expert that can tell me why the hell "plan mode on" means nothing, as it continues to edit files and run commands. Then I ask what it's doing, it's like "You caught me!" Is the TUI completely useless?
I wonder if using frontmatter for markdown docs in a Git repo might help coding agents figure out which files to read, and when. Like ``` description: System architecture, technical decisions and detailed information about our tech stack. ``` Instead of feeding the entire thing into context.
Improving feedback loops isn't just great for agents. It's also great for humans! - Better documentation - Fast language-servers (LSP) - Fast linters - Fast tests - Fast formatting
@thdxr.com Hey, I manage to convince my boss to buy OpenCode Go - but we're confused by this message Everything seems to be routed through Zen - and we want a subscription for each developer.
Migrating from OpenCode to Claude CLI - Security notification theater is exhausting - I miss the clear plan/build separation - It's somehow dumber. Same models. Less brains. - Distracting loading messages What is your experience? Recommendations?
I originally dismissed this as some developer making a joke. But, after watching her explain it and reading the blog-post, I'm stoked to try it, and I just love when my favorite actors turn out to be geeks too! benobi.one/posts/buildi... www.instagram.com/p/DWzNnqwD2Lu/

I've moved from complex React apps back to simple, fast Go server-rendered web apps with Gastro, blending composability and ease without heavy dependencies.
"Release Please" from Google is pretty great. It monitors my repository and maintains pull-requests for upcoming releases. So, every time I push changes; it updates the release-notes and waits for me to approve the PR. Then it handles all the heavy lifting. I wish I knew of this earlier
Microsoft has the worst SSO. I wanted to publish a VScode extension so I log into my Microsoft account. 1. Asks for my tel 2. Asks me to solve a trivial AI puzzle 3. Sends SMS 4. Wants passkey. Fails 2x then creates. 5. Azure login requires 2FA (I already have that) 6. Create new TOTP for Azure
