Your Sifa ID profile, in a game too
rpg.actor gives you a small pixel-art character that uses your Atmosphere account. Games and apps that support rpg.actor can show it.
Some sections of your Sifa ID profile unlock clothes and gear for that character. It's optional and just a fun extra for when you play games: nothing changes in the sections of your Sifa profile. When you claim an item, it shows up in your activity, like other things you do in the Atmosphere.

Questions
How do I get an rpg.actor character?
Create one in the rpg.actor generator. It uses the same Atmosphere account you sign in to Sifa ID with. Then come back here: the page shows your character and which items your profile unlocks.
Where do my items go?
When you claim an item, Sifa ID sends it as a gift from the sifa.id account and saves the item in your rpg.actor inventory. Before it writes anything to your account, Sifa ID asks for your permission once. It only writes rpg.actor items and your character's look.
How do I wear an item?
Press Wear now on the item here. Sifa ID puts the item on your character and updates its picture. This works for characters made with the rpg.actor generator. You can also wear items on your rpg.actor character page. Games and apps that show your rpg.actor character show the item once you wear it.
Can I take an item off?
Yes. Press Take off on the item here, or take it off on rpg.actor. The item stays in your inventory, so you can wear it again later. If the item replaced something your character wore, like a top, choose a new one in the rpg.actor generator.
Who can see my items?
Everyone. Gifts and items are public, like your Bluesky posts. An item shows that your profile lists the section that unlocked it: the Doctoral Cap, for example, shows that it lists a doctorate.
What does Sifa ID check?
Only which sections your profile has: jobs, volunteering, talks, education and its level, linked ORCID and GitHub accounts, and whether you use Tangled. When you wear or take off an item, we ask rpg.actor to draw your character's new picture. We don't share anything else with rpg.actor.
What happens if I delete my Sifa ID account?
We delete the gifts we sent you. Items you already accepted stay in your rpg.actor inventory until you remove them there.
