Highlights

Full profile

I carefully craft well-organized user-centered web applications, websites, developer tools and APIs.

What I love doing:

  • Building performant, modular, component-based web applications.
  • Creating accessible and responsive interfaces + web pages.
  • Designing secure, well-tested APIs with various kinds of databases.

Besides that, these are some of the more niche things I've done:

  • Researched and utilized several cryptographic methods and algorithms to build web applications that operate in a distributed fashion. This includes things such as PRF passkey encryption, establishing secure tunnels between devices, and synchronizing encrypted data between users using P2P tech.
  • Implemented libraries & SDKs for content-addressed and distributed computing protocols such as UCAN and WNFS, and then using them in web applications.

Dec 2019 - Aug 2023

At this startup I was responsible for the building out the SDK with examples, implementing a protocol called UCAN, adding features to the API, and building web applications that consumed the SDK. This is where my distributed computing and cryptography journey began.

Here I made websites and web applications of various sizes, both frontend and backend. This included things such as creating an entirely custom CMS from scratch, writing complex database queries, making beautiful websites, and the occasional React Native.

At my first job I built accessible design-heavy websites along with some playful canvas animations, backed with the in-house Ruby CMS system, along with other backends written in Golang and PHP.

A project I've been working on since before the beginning of my career. It's taken a lot of different shapes, but still revolves around the same core idea: listen to your audio files from the cloud or your machine. The latest iteration is local-first, cooperative and malleable software.

Sep 2016 - Aug 2025

A library I wrote in several languages. It allows you to build static websites, among other things, without confirming to a specific directory structure.

This is the SDK I was responsible for back when I worked for a startup called Fission. It allowed for fully distributed web application without requiring a custom backend.
