Fulfillment Associate

Amazon

Dec 2018 - Aug 2021

Associate working in the Customer Returns (CR) department. Trained in several roles, primarily as a Problem Solver and Instructor. Over the course of the 2020/21 Peak I have been given the opportunity to be the Proxy Lead for both the Stow and Tranship Out teams within Customer Returns. These were technical and responsible positions which I felt suited my abilities well. Being the Team Lead Proxy has given me the possibility to demonstrate my skills as a leader and the ability to make swift decisions on the shop floor. As a Problem Solver I was given the responsibility to rectify errors in inventory and quality whilst taking the responsibility to act as a support and keeping all related processes running as they should. My role extended to quality control and data gathering for management to aid in decision making in projects they were investigating. Took the opportunity to become an instructor in the non-con CR department to develop as an individual and to ensure the knowledge and skills gained are passed on to new hires in an engaging and effective way.
