I also found out how to make BlueSky load embeds for the posts: you basically just add an `associatedRefs` field to each post's entry and use the app.bsky.embed.external lexicon to choose which thumbnail/text you want to use

I just finished revamping my website and I'm so happy with how it came out (my CSS chops will probably never be this good again) still working on minimizing the JS and CSS footprint by optimizing what parts get loaded/linked and which parts have it embedded

It's highly concerning how much some people anthropomorphize models. . . No, "agents" are not "reaching out." So called "agents" are models that simply output things given some input, it doesn't have its own volition, it can't "see", it can't " hear" and it can't "think."

Wow that is very well written

“You are a monstrous human being and will go down in history as America’s Reinhard Heydrich, the butcher.

“The way you are protecting the obvious execution in Minnesota, even as we see the videos, will lead to your downfall. Even Trump will turn on you before the end, and you will be a sad, despised man who eats himself alive with shame at your own pathetic weakness.

“You will never know peace. You will seek to lose yourself, to escape the burden of knowing the truth about yourself. But wherever you go, you will find yourself. You will torment yourself until your last day on Earth.”

After federal agents shot Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, a New Yorker sent ICE's director an email in January comparing him to a Nazi. This week, DHS agents stalked him across New York. His home. A hotel. They gave his wife a letter warning of criminal prosecution. www.syracuse.com/news/2026/06...

Night Lantern (No Digital Waterboarding Beyond Midnight)

Softens the app's edges during late night work and through early morning stillness, gently discouraging impulsive interaction by disarming features that fuels doomscrolling (aka doom-swiping in Anisota or "digital waterboarding" in Andrei Jiroh's own words) for the night owls.

IPFS with Kelvin versioning is a match made in heaven Whenever a piece of software freezes at 0K, you pin it on IPFS. So you get decentralized access anywhere to that software + a nice little identifier for it (its CID)
