Spotted: The new ALSO TM-B e-bike. Sadly, it was going the opposite direction I was, so I didn't get a picture of it. It was also sad because I saw it on a local trail at Waterdog in Belmont, CA. That's notable because Belmont doesn't allow Class III e-bikes like the TM-B on trails. 😞 #

Awesome! Now let's see if I can get tickets in SF…I'm still waiting to find good seats there for The Odyssey. 😞 #
So painfully stupid. And not just trying to stop new development, but actually damage existing infrastructure. 🤬 #
You’d think that there would be a ton of good 3-in-1 MagSafe travel chargers, but they have all left something to be desired, until now. The Mophie 3-in-1 Portable Travel Charger is excellent. #
Oof, this sucks. As someone who goes through Frankfurt—already the airport that hurts the most when flying in Europe—a few times a year, this was a benefit that I appreciated. No explanation, no apparent other benefit to replace it, just a loss of a valuable benefit. #
I'm finishing up my latest trip to Poland for work. Our office is next to Spodek, which is an arena in Katowice. "Spodek" means "saucer" in English, and it's shaped like a flying saucer. I love that it plays the musical tones from Close Encounters of the Third Kind. #
I have the A7R V, this model's predecessor, so I can't really justify an upgrade to this one, but that's a pretty solid review. Sony has really done a good job of establishing itself as one of the top camera brands. #
Sounds like they're doing great stuff out there in St. George. I go to the area pretty often, but I tend to hit stuff around Hurricane and Gooseberry Mesa. I'll have to make a point to check this area out. #
Gah, I'm traveling, and wasn't on top of this, and now the 70mm IMAX theater in SF is sold out as far as tickets are available, into January. #
This isn't for me, but I love to see them swinging for the fences like this. #
Yikes. #
This anectode, posted to the Howl blog, is a fun look at just one part of the awesome Howl campfire, and why it cost so much. #
More reminiscing about The Shield and its finale…. #
I love this premise. For me, the first thing that came to mind when I thought of "a perfect finale" was the finale to The Shield. For a show that started really rough for me, it was a rare example of one that got better over the seasons. And that finale was, indeed, perfect. #
This is a fun read, about a "regular rider" trying his hand at Sedona's new-ish double black diamond trail, Hardline. #
For the first time in since my early 20s, I don't have a vehicle that has a manual transmission. That's partially because most manufacturers no longer offer them. I hope this spreads to more manufacturers, because I can't buy that Porsche. 😞 #
Speaking of the Commodore 64, here's a post about a joystick from that era that's being resurrected. Wild. I had the black model! #
A recent meeting I attended had a fun icebreaker question, something along the lines of, "What was your first favorite video game?" I had two answers, one for an arcade game (Tempest), and one for a computer game: Telengard. What a blast from the past! #
Neat. I don't watch baseball live, but I'll try and check one of these games out. #
Yikes, 41%! I'm honestly surprised that people actually use LinkedIn for more than staying connected to former colleagues. I never go there to read long-form writing. #
