“Widow’s Bay” started very slowly for me. But I’d recommend you to stick with it, as there really are some stand-out episodes and moments. I grew increasingly fond of it as I watched, and even more so as I reflect on it now that we’ve finished. #

What a rollercoaster this device has been on. After the long delay since it was rumored to arrive, it might now have to go head-to-head with OpenAI's rumored device. If the current state of Siri AI (in beta) and GPT-Live are any indication, it's going to be a fight. #
It's hard to read this and not think of it as representing what is happening to the country under this administration. "Wilting", "weedy", "gutted", "purged". #
I had a Honda Element back when it first came out, a liked it except for its engine. Honda is apparently considering bringing it back with a hybrid powertrain. That could be great! I hope they do take a swing at the Element concept again. #
Emily Wilson, who created a modern, well-received translation of The Odyssey, has an incredibly thorough review of the movie. While I liked the movie where she did not, I also enjoyed reading her take. #
This is an extraordinary moment, to be sure. Still, how you meet moments like this gives an indication whether your values are strongly held, or just light commitments, kept when they are easy. It doesn't surprise me that Meta's were the latter. Let’s see how Apple does with its commitments. #
I just watched The Dink (★☆☆☆☆) on Apple TV, and yikes, is it a stinker. It's easily the worst movie I've seen in a really long time. Do not watch. #
One of the main reasons I like (and pay a premium for) Apple devices and services is the top-notch experience. It absolutely grates to read News+ now, and it's infuriating that these crappy ads will be expanding to other parts of the ecosystem. #
That's a great-looking trailer! 💪 #
Having a hard time figuring out where your Favorites bar comes from in a secondary profile in Safari? I’ve got the answer. #
Speaking of The Odyssey, this is a great essay on teaching it—the book, not the movie—to a class at San Quentin. #
It almost goes without saying that The Odyssey will be up for Best Picture as well. That's quite a feat for a retelling of a ~2,700 year old story, but Nolan pulled it off. Read my post for more of my thoughts. #
Wow, this is pretty amazing! #
I agree with Snell here: The Apple TV, even with its price increases, is still the only streaming box on the market that isn’t completely junked up. I just wish that Apple would give it more love and attention. #
Letting agents control your computer introduces a number of security concerns, but potential access to secrets like passwords is high on the list. I'm glad to see 1password taking a shot at addressing this. #
Check out the awesome 3D models being created for a Blake's 7 prequel/fan film, called Liberator Aftershock. The care that's gone in to making not only a really impressive version of the exterior of the ship, there are really nice interiors, including some that weren't in the show often. #
This interesting episode of The Circuit is better summarized by its description than the title. Even then, I thought the most interesting parts were about the state of science, research, and the breakthroughs we should expect from CRISPR. #
It's about time (no pun intended) this gets done. #
