One of the founder members of Sustainable Kirriemuir, I took the lead rôle in the creation of the Kirriemuir Community Garden at St Mary's Field, earning a qualification as a licensed 'Gardeniser' through the Erasmus scheme. The field provided an important space for where people could meet and work safely during the Covid years, while providing fresh produce using regenerative techniques. Although no longer involved with the field, I am pleased to see it continues to flourish.
