Building a unified data plane for distributed energy resources.
- Built control plane UI for visualizing and modifying layer 7 routing in a simple and intuitive way using ReactFlow for interactive graphing and CodeMirror for in-browser config editing with an IDE-like experience.
- Designed demo of our product for marketing & customer calls.
- Concocted an automated CD system to deploy git commits to Preview environments on AWS ECS.
- Created a Rust based CLI with Clap to interact with a control plane API.
- Wrote a simple unix socket-based TUI to manage permissions for a system-call proxy wrapper for AI Agents.
- Standardized & modernized various aspects of the SDLC for 100 person engineering organization.
- Helped manage all AWS infrastructure for the company via Terraform.
- Ported an asynchronous task engine framework based on Celery and Redis from one monolithic python backend to another.
- Spearheaded internal package templates, tooling, and SDLC for TypeScript based packages with AWS CodeArtifact.
- Learned Rust by making a ray tracer from scratch (using a GLSL compute shader with Vulkan), a maze generator, an interactive Schotter generator, and working through cryptopals problems.
- Made a WiFi sniffer and app that run on a RaspberryPI to automagically check people in to the RC office.
- Set up a blog from scratch using 11ty and designed a custom workflow for writing and publishing blogs using Logseq and Github Actions.
- Automated the Kubernetes deployment pipeline for my personal website and blog using Github actions.
- Co-lead the development of a new Salesforce CLI to unify the developer experience for Salesforce Devs1,2.
- Spearheaded moving from CircleCI to Github actions, saving Salesforce around $50,000 in contracts.
- Lead maintainer on oclif. A widely used open source framework, with 85,000+ weekly downloads, 8,500 Github stars, and 50+ contributors, for creating modular CLIs using Node.js.
- Worked with a team to create and manage an internal Kubernetes platform running on GCP, Azure, and AWS.
- Built and implemented fully automated CI/CD pipelines using TeamCity, enabling seamless deployment of front-end applications to Kubernetes. Increased deployment frequency from 3 months to a few hours.
- Led full-day bootcamps on Cloud Native technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, CNCF), training 100+ software engineers to enhance application scalability, reliability, and optimize deployment processes organization-wide.
- Drove front-end enhancements for Spinnaker, pivotal in Salesforce's successful adoption of the platform.
- Wrote a guide on how to run Spinnaker on a local kubernetes cluster for development purposes.
- Collaborated on architecting a front-end framework and set of libraries that standardized architecture and CI/CD practices for 10+ web applications, boosting development efficiency and code quality for numerous teams.
Worked on several different internal facing projects related to the Salesforce Marketing Cloud primarily as a full stack JavaScript developer.
A few of these projects included:
- Standardizing the front-end technology stack for the SFMC as a whole.
- Helping define, create, and setup a process and libraries for automated unit testing and continuous delivery for front-end applications.
- Assisting customer facing teams in diagnosing and debugging client centric production issues.
- Part of a team that created and maintains an internal facing managed Kubernetes service for other SFMC engineers to use.
- Creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes applications and services.
- Advising, helping, and teaching many different engineers from all parts of the SFMC on Cloud Native technologies, standards, and development processes.
- Contributed to Spinnaker's open source Deck repository to help with Salesforce's Spinnaker usecases.
- Many other smaller projects.
JavaScript, ES6, HTML5, CSS3, Node.js, Bash, Docker/Kubernetes, Spinnaker, GitHub, and TeamCity are just a few of the technologies I used for these projects.
- Built and maintained custom web GUIs for enterprise applications.
- Improved performance and efficiency for existing enterprise applications. Including improving Audience Builder's loading speed by %500.
- Resolved long standing time zone problems between Audience Builder's UI and databases.
- Created a testing framework based on Mocha for Audience Builder which lead to my being offered a position on another team at the Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
Contractor for ExactTarget/Salesforce doing front-end development work for an enterprise application called Audience Builder. I created custom user interfaces using HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3 along with several different web application libraries and frameworks such as RxJS, FuelUX, Backbone.js, Underscore.js, and several others. The web applications I supported and created in this role interact with a .NET and SQL Server backend through SSJS (Server Side JavaScript), and RESTful APIs.
Worked as a generalist software engineer focusing on HTML5/Javascript/CSS3, Python/Django, and ASP.NET frameworks with a Microsoft SQL Server database running on IIS. Also interacted with a wide array of 3rd party frameworks and services such as AngularJS, Redis and ExactTarget's e-mail services. Was a jack of all trades, full stack developer in a team that owned a product called message center. It was a proprietary instant messaging tool for use between our clients and subscribers.
FoundOPS
Lead the mobile front of FoundOPS by creating, managing and improving the mobile part of the platform we offered. Worked primarily with HTML5 technologies and Javascript as well as several Javascript libraries & frameworks such as Cordova/PhoneGap, jQuery Mobile, and AngularJS.
Purdue University
Ran and organized diving meets at Purdue. Traveled with the team to away meets, handled transportation at the meet's location, video taped divers for future study, helped with workouts and certain aspects of training while away from Purdue.

Volunteering
Network Technician
Help provide affordable and neutral internet to everyone who needs or wants it in NYC. Like a lot of Mesh volunteers I help out in a bunch of different ways:
- Light high altitude work to install and maintain large hubs
- Network maintenance
- Hardware configuration & installation
- General community support & engagement
Teacher and TA
As a Girl Develop It Instructor and TA I've taught several of the classes offered through the Indianapolis chapter. Some of these include Intro to JavaScript, Intro to Web Concepts, and Intro to HTML and CSS. I highly enjoy the experience of teaching and helping students learn more about web development and technology in general.
Surf for Life Ambassador
As an ambassador for Surf for Life I am the main point of contact for any Indianapolis based Salesforce employee when they have questions or want to know more about SFL. I organize regular Lunch 'n' Learns to spread the word about SFL and its mission in Indianapolis. And I coordinate with the Surf for Life team to bring the most up to date information about volunteering opportunities to my coworkers in Indy.
Overseas Volunteer
As a volunteer for a Surf for Life trip to Guatemala I provided funding and work hours to build a high school in the coastal town of El Paredon. I was also involved in organizing educational activities for local elementary school children. And by interacting with the local building crew I was able to gain a better understanding of their community and motivated some of them to sign up for english classes.
