In diesem Talk wird es darum gehen, welche Vorteile Inhaltsaddressierung mit Blake3-Hashes bringt, und wie diese neben effektiver Deduplizierung auch dezentrale und kollaboratives Web-Archivieren vereinfacht.

This talk explores SkyFeed's evolution from the first Bluesky feed builder to a platform with a custom Rust-based indexer and database designed specifically for AT Protocol and Bluesky data. The new open-source architecture not only enables advanced personalized feeds and complex algorithms, but also has the potential to be a solution to one of Bluesky's biggest decentralization challenges: creating a fully independent, EU-hosted AppView that could significantly advance the network's autonomy.

Most social networks use proprietary algorithms to recommend new content and keep you on their platform for as long as possible. Other platforms don't use advanced algorithms, but this can make it difficult to discover new content and communities. What if, instead, everyone could simply build their own transparent open source algorithms and publish them for everyone to use? This is possible on Bluesky using SkyFeed (and other tools) today and this talk shows how that works and why you should care :)
