Back in 2022 React had a huge market in terms of JavaScript Frameworks. When agents came around it gained even more advantage, thanks to the fact that early models were basically fine-tuned to spit out React code. Companies started to migrate to React just to gain the speed advantage of using a technology that the AI knew best, people declared React "the winner" because the huge training set of React code out in the wild meant LLMs were obsessed with it. But is this really true? Are there any reasons to pick a different framework? I think yes, and during this talk I'll go over the reasons why I think that is, and what advantages a less used framework like Svelte can bring to the table.
