In 2018 Rich Harris did a talk called "Computer, build me an app" introducing the foundation of what would become Svelte 3. A lot have changed since then but the most substantial change is probably in our perception of the title: back then the computer that was building an app was the Svelte compiler, nowadays are our agents. This talk showcases all the tools Svelte provides to allow our agents to write the best Svelte code possible sprinkled with a few generic tips and tricks on how to keep your clankers aligned. All of this while we put the title of the talk to the test: can an LLM write you a full app with the simple prompt "Computer, build me an app"? We are going to find out at the end of the talk!
