One thing that has caught be by surprise is becoming more and more drawn to libertarianism as I've gotten older. It just seems like every time there's an opportunity, the state takes it to increase power to infringe on peoples rights

The irony of the Internet is that in many ways it has done opposite of what was expected of it. For instance, though it has made information more accessible, people are now more misinformed. It's easier to connect yet loneliness is more present in our society, people are more polarized etc

This is a a really good point. I see a lot of people saying that LLMs are good for brainstorming and I really don’t think so. I think the best use for LLMs in any form of creative medium is to /organize/ and structure your ideas, rather than expand them
