It's frustrating to to see political leaders in the EU undermine a recent no by the European Parliament to pursue a fever dream of mass surveillance. Opportunistic behaviour is incredibly toxic no matter if it's at local government, national government or EU level. And I see so much of it lately.
CHAT CONTROL IS BACK → Today the urgent procedure for Chat Control 1.0 was passed. Next up: EU Parliament is voting on Thursday. If Chat Control passes your messages, pictures, videos will all be scanned because the law will require it - this removes privacy & welcomes mass surveillance in the EU.

It looks like the latest @pnpm.io authentication settings changes have broken all my deploy pipelines both on GitHub and on Railway. I am all for hardening the dependency supply chain but I am also all for adding deprecation warnings while things are not broken yet. pnpm.io/npmrc
