Salesforce developers strive to build fast, scalable, and efficient apps—whether to streamline business processes, enhance user experience, or modernize legacy systems. But mastering Lightning Web Components (LWC) can be complex. Salesforce Lightning Web Development Cookbook simplifies this journey with 70-plus recipes that guide you through every stage of LWC development with step-by-step solutions to real-world challenges faced by Salesforce developers. This book covers key concepts such as component composition, data retrieval, event handling, and performance optimization. You'll explore advanced topics such as writing accessible components, migrating from Visualforce and Aura, and testing LWCs using Jest and Apex. Each recipe is carefully crafted to provide clear explanations, concise code snippets, and best practices to ensure you can immediately apply what you learn to your projects. By the end of the book, you’ll be able to successfully build and scale Lightning Web Components for enterprise-grade applications. Whether you're developing new features, troubleshooting performance issues, or transitioning legacy code, this book will equip you with the expertise needed to streamline development and create high-performance applications.

Assisted in efforts in documenting the integration between the Kotlin-based Supportal system and Salesforce. Designed and completed a tabletop exercise to test the time to recover in the event of mass data loss and find gaps in the existing data recovery process, building a solution that corrupted tens of millions of records in 24 hours. Architected and built a series of abstract classes allowing batch jobs to be chained while working around Salesforce’s governor limits for number of queued jobs, winning the inaugural Own Company Innovator of the Year Award. This project has since been open-sourced under sf-deity. Refactored Apex triggers and helper classes to align with a Kevin O’Hara’s SFDC Trigger Framework. Wrote and refactored unit tests utilizing a proprietary stubbing and mocking framework to increase testing accuracy and decrease time to go live by an average of 50% per release. Introduced and documented a standardized class structure for front-end development within the CF1 Salesforce org. Designed a generics class structure that allows Custom Setting objects to be genericized and mocked for the purpose of sending platform events with data from regularly cached Custom Settings to DataDog for observability purposes. Completed Scrum Master training and certification and contributed to the implementation of an agile methodology. Mentored mid-level development resources and senior admins on Salesforce development techniques. Served as a leader for a WomEng Array and on the planning committee for the WomEng mentorship program.

The story of Ada Loves Laces is an uncomplicated one. Borne out of quarantine, Ada Loves Laces seeks to combine two beautiful, and historically related, artforms: fiber works and computational programming. The name Ada Loves Laces comes from the inspirational Ada Lovelace, who is considered by many to be the mother of computing. The daughter of Lord and Lady Byron, Ada Lovelace became known for her work on Charles Babbage's Analytical Engine, a proposed mechanical computer. Lovelace is believed to have been the first to theorize applications of the computer beyond computations, and is the first to have written and published algorithms for such a machine.

sf-deity is a data-recovery testing solution presented by the Cash App Salesforce Team at Block. This tool allows a Salesforce team to simulate data loss at a massive scale to determine necessary remediation steps in the event of catastrophe. This tool introduces the use of a Queueable Jobs Framework (provided by DX_QueueableJobChain.cls and DX_ChainedQueueable.cls) that allows a developer flexibility surrounding the limits of the Queueable Interface provided by Salesforce by enqueueing the next job when the current job is completed.
