Too often, in our society, technological optimism creates systems lacking nuance and compassion, leading to exclusion. My professional career has always been intertwined with my understanding of technology and ability to comprehend complex systems. Although I appreciate gaining and applying technical insights, for me the essence always lies in improving the human condition. As a critical and independent analyst, I address systemic pitfalls and aim to empower the excluded.

"Feel the heat": Together with another Dutch volunteer I organised the 2009 Ecotopia Biketour, a two month cycling & activism tour through the Western Balkans in the run-up to the 2009 Climate Summit in Copenhagen, Denmark. During the 2009 Biketour we met with environmental organisations and campaigns in Serbia, Macedonia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia Herzegovina and Croatia.
From February 2008 based in Vienna, Austria.
