Oh, so Bluesky is back up again..? Events this past month have started to show a pattern, a pattern that's pushing me to question whether Bluesky can be trusted long term. I'm seriously considering what steps needs to be taken to safeguard ATProto and the apps running on it.

This sort of thing makes me so angry! Our rights have been hard won over years, and now those rights are being used by nefarious cis straight c**ts to swindle migrants out of money. All while putting genuine LGBTQ+ asylum seekers at risk of not having their claims accepted 🤬

I have just spent the most of the day (worked through lunch, missed going to the gym) to work on a bug. I've just found out that someone added a second, yes second, BFF! So it has been silently creating secure cookies instead of the official BFF, that I thought was the one with the bug! 🤬
This past Easter weekend has seen Bluesky's PDS fleet experience spikes of instability, of course the status page records these on graphs but still gives a response for 100% up time 🤨 If calls are timing out or experiencing periods of latency, then this is not 100% up time Just FYI #Bluesky
