Key technologies: - Ansible - Docker - HashiCorp Consul - HashiCorp Nomad - HashiCorp Vault - Perl - Go A few key accomplishments: wrote a cluster-wide application log collection/filter/mutation engine in Go that consumes log entries from RabbitMQ (landed there via Logstash) that allowed developers to have real-time insight and also powered an alerting engine. Designed and implemented a "self service" portal for developers that tied together Gitlab-CI with our Nomad cluster to enable easy CD, staging deployments, canary deployments, and log visibility. Moved all infrastructure from hand-rolled dedicated servers to a common ansible-powered setup, then to cloud; designed and implemented a one-click provisioning system for our own use, as well as pluggable autoscalers to provide not only autoscaling, but autoscaling within a budget, and other rules set by management.
