In Super Mario World, Mario can use lava to create life from nothing. Throwing an empty Koopa shell upward on the frame it would sink into lava will make it turn into a living Koopa. It can then be extracted from the shell and the process repeated indefinitely for infinite life.

That was a dang good Xbox Developer Direct. Forza Horizon looks great, Double Fine's new game decidedly Very Double Fine™, the Game Freak game looks promising. But absolutely strand out was Fable which looked spectacular. Roll on Autumn 2026!

Switch 2 Edition of Animal Crossing New Horizons still has crazy long load times getting in and out of the island. 🥲
