Highlights

Full profile

Mobility, Transport & Logistics engineering student at DTU with a particular interest in how traffic, infrastructure and data come together in the real world.

Through my studies and my experience at Vejdirektoratet, I’ve worked with everything from traffic planning and simulation to GIS, road design and data analysis. I enjoy understanding how things work, digging into the details and using data to make transport challenges a little easier to understand.

Outside the technical side, I value good communication, teamwork and learning from the people I work with. I’m still building my experience, but I’m curious, practical-minded and always interested in picking up something new.

Projects: 3

Feb 2025 - May 2025

An urban design and mobility project exploring how to reconnect Herlev Town Centre, the railway station and the emerging Marielund district through transit-oriented development. The project combines site observation, user interviews, traffic counts, GIS-based spatial analysis, SWOT and stakeholder analysis, as well as Kevin Lynch’s urban analysis framework and principles of transit-oriented development. The analysis identifies physical barriers, fragmented movement patterns and opportunities for strengthening connections between existing and emerging urban functions. The selected strategy establishes a continuous green mobility corridor connecting Herlev Town Centre, residential areas, the railway station and the emerging business district. The proposal integrates a new pedestrian and cycling network, an upgraded and revitalised tunnel connection, and a new accessible pedestrian and cycle bridge across the railway. Green public spaces, activity areas, wayfinding and local stormwater management are integrated into the overall landscape strategy.

Aug 2024 - Nov 2024

A traffic engineering project focused on the design and optimisation of the intersection between Vordingborggade and Strandboulevarden in Copenhagen. The project evaluates future traffic demand towards 2034 and develops an intersection design balancing capacity, safety, accessibility and sustainable mobility. The project combines traffic forecasting, capacity and level-of-service analysis, conflict analysis, signal design and geometric planning. Using DanKap and guidelines from the Danish Road Directorate, the proposed intersection was assessed for peak-hour traffic, queue lengths, safety times and turning movements. The final proposal reduces the overall road space while strengthening conditions for pedestrians and cyclists. Raised pedestrian crossings, protected and signalised cycle tracks, pedestrian refuge islands and revised turning lanes improve safety and accessibility while supporting active mobility. The design was further refined through swept-path analysis for buses and service vehicles. A complete signal design was developed, including signal phasing, intergreen times and pedestrian clearance times. Capacity calculations demonstrate satisfactory operating conditions, with all approaches maintaining acceptable degree of saturation and delay during both morning and afternoon peak periods.

Jun 2024

An urban design and mobility masterplan transforming Holbæk Station into a contemporary, connected and people-oriented urban destination. The project rethinks the station area by shifting from car-oriented infrastructure towards public transport, cycling and pedestrian movement. The proposal strengthens the connection between the station, city centre and surrounding urban functions, creating a more cohesive arrival experience. The masterplan introduces a redesigned station square, upgraded bus terminal, integrated cycling infrastructure, drop-off and taxi facilities, and a new parking structure. Existing buildings are selectively transformed and combined with new architectural interventions to support mixed-use functions and activate the public realm. Green infrastructure and local stormwater management are integrated into the landscape strategy. The redesigned public realm prioritizes accessibility, safety and everyday activity while establishing a distinct identity for the station as a gateway to Holbæk.
