Hi, I’m Romana—a freelance illustrator, graphic designer, and“child of the mountains” based in Innsbruck, Tyrol.My creative journey hasn’t been a straight line, and I believe my work is richer for it. My background ranges from studying computer science and working as a 3D artist/designer at an indie game studio (Clockstone), to stepping away from screens entirely to trek 1,400 km to the Black Sea. After returning, I transitioned into a role as an in-house designer for a multi-company holding, managing everything from branding and web design to social media and print for all its subsidiaries.Today, my freelance work flows into two complementary worlds:💻 Design & Branding: I help organizations, non-profits, and brands tell their stories visually. While I am well-versed in print and web design, my true passion lies in digital illustration. I specialize in clean vector graphics, customized icon sets, and hand-drawn digital illustrations that give brands a unique, approachable appearance.🖋️ Pet Illustration | tuschetier: As an analog counterbalance to my digital work, I run tuschetier. Inspired by my late dog, Kira, I create custom, traditional ink portraits of pets.
