Drafting of the Blue Carbon assessment methodologies proposed in Manual for the Creation of Blue Carbon Projects in Europe and the Mediterranean, and technical review of the manual. Commissioned by International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN).
Life Blue Natura Project (EU). Protocol development for Blue Carbon inventories. Carbon fluxes and stocks estimation in salt marsh and seagrass soils of the Andalusian coast (SW Mediterranean Sea). Tasks: Assistance field work-plan desing, laboratory work coordination, stocks and fluxes estimations, undergraduate students’ tasks coordination and organization and lectured of a three days international course in blue carbon assessment .
PALEOPARK Project (SPAIN). Field sampling and laboratory analysis of soil and sediment samples: grain size distribution, organic matter, organic C and carbonates content.
