Teaching International Law, Human Rights and Politics in Africa and Developing World

As the director of the center in Arusha, I have administrative and academic responsibilities. I would design the program, hire the faculty and the staff needed to deliver. I also taught international law, international affairs, African affairs and conflict resolution for both undergraduate and graduate students.

This was my hobby: training basketball player. We created the leading team in Arusha and organize a league for about 2-3 years. We also developed a practice for kids to learn the fundamentals of basketball.

Senior Legal Officer in the Office of the President of the Tribunal. I provide legal advice to the President and to the Judges of the trial chambers. I help coordinate the work of the lawyers assisting the Judges. I represent the Judges in the negotiations for the residual mechanism leading to the creation of the International Mechanism. Finally I run the training program for the Rwandan Judiciary in international criminal law.

Assisting the victims and/or their legal representatives in the proceedings at the International Criminal Court.

Advising Judges in Trial Chamber III of the Tribunal. Coordinating pre-trial for all pending cases and advising the trial chamber in charge and the President.
