Saw this lager at the pub the other night and was briefly horrified at what I thought was a new novelty beer flavour

All our work Slack channels/DMs seem to be broken... except the #ALL-CAPS channel

One of the people who viewed the house last week asked if it was possible to play the trumpet in this room

Yeah I don't know what I'd do if someone actually heard me and confronted me

This has so radicalised me over the years that I break the extreme British taboo of quietly accepting rudeness and audibly aim a sarcastic "you're welcome" at their backs as they pass. I'm a dangerous etiquette risk at this stage.

When a group of people walk three abreast towards me on the pavement such that I have to stand in the road to allow them to pass unobstructed, and not a single one of them acknowledges me, let alone says thanks (or, you know, goes in single file so I can walk too)

This is such a weird article, wtf. They obviously wanted to write about Chalamet but somehow shoehorned in the Wordle guy for having the sheer audacity to... want to continue making things?

The Guardian's review of SNL UK describes "a pop quiz from Graham Norton on Britishisms (“Autoshop repair …?” “Autoshop replace!”)" which manages to fail the Britishism while Tina Fey got it right (why does the Guardian think it's "Autoshop"?) www.theguardian.com/culture/2026...

Saturday Night Live UK review – it didn’t fail and it could have been a lot worse

Watched the first half of SNL UK last night and enjoyed it... did I miss the group chat where we all agreed to hate it in advance? Did the second half suck?

Just visibly panicked and checked there was no way my inexplicably-agile/fearless son had somehow seen this post, because I know with certainty that he would immediately begin doing this on every doorframe he ever saw

Tried to load the Hey Duggee Toothbrush Song on YouTube in a state of autopilot during the kids' morning bathroom routine. Accidentally loaded "Fleet Foxes - Mykonos (live in Greece 2008)" which made for a much more enigmatic dental hygiene experience.

I'm ashamed to admit that I demonstrated this to him, which he (initially) refused to believe. "But your farts are really loud!" he said, in semi-admiration. "You only hear half the farts I do", I told him. Maddy commented that this sounded like a philosophical aphorism
