Fascinasians
From 2011 - 2015 I ran a blog called Fascinasians that aggregated news, current events, cultural traditions, and history for Asian Pacific Islander Desi Americans (APIDA). I also wrote original content on local state politicians of APIDA descent, intersectional feminism, the need for ethnic studies, and power dynamics of interracial relationships. During this time, I was invited to speak at conferences including: Moment or Movement? Activism and Social Justice in the Digital Age @ Rutgers University 2015 East Coast Asian American Student Union 2015 Chinatown Beautification Day 2014 Boston Asian Student Intercollegiate Coalition 2014 Union of North American Vietnamese Student Associations - 2014 E(RACE)D 2014 at Brown University 2014 Penn Asian American Studies Conference 2014 NYC Asian American Students Conference 2013 Midwest Asian American Students Conference 2013 Triangle Area Asian Students Conference 2013 Listen to the Silence Conference @ Stanford University 2013
