Career3
- Supported and maintained a suite of more than 20 legacy applications (written in C#, JavaScript, and TypeScript) critical to corporate operations during the onboarding of over 3,500 new co-op members. - Ensured the success of a high-stakes ERP go-live across a suite of legacy applications, sustaining critical operations through an extended hypercare period. - Maintained and built onto an extensive network of over 4,000 Kafka producers, consumers, and Streams applications hosted in Kubernetes that were responsible for syndicating data between over 150 production MSSQL databases.
- Taught classes of 8-15 students introductory procedural programming and OOP principles in C#, focusing on algorithmic thinking and logical correctness. - Taught a Rust topics class introducing students to systems programming and encouraging them to think more about memory semantics and type invariance.
- Designed, built, and maintained a specialized React PWA for data collection in low-connectivity environments for a global userbase, with particular focus on data integrity and internationalization. - Maintained a quoting and booking application for trucking logistics using React, Express, and MongoDB. - Reduced unit testing runtimes by a factor of 12x from >15 mins to <2 mins.
Education2
Worked with C#, C++, Pep/9 Assembly, and Python to explore programming fundamentals and methodologies.
Explored linear algebra, graph theory, numerical methods, discrete structures, and other mathematical concepts to discover applications in software development.

Projects2
Community leadership and design contributions - Actively cultivating a culture of good faith and constructive improvement across a fast-growing community. - Authored a comprehensive resource on the megamerge workflow, a complex multi-branch reconciliation pattern for managing parallel lines of work. - Authored a formal design proposal for per-revision metadata storage, a prerequisite for first-class topic support in Jujutsu.
Personal site and ATProto publishing pipeline - Designed a low-friction publishing system using dictation and LLM reflow capabilities that made consistently thinking in public sustainable. - Drove tangible ecosystem contributions: upstream bug fixes, collaborations, and unsolicited reader outreach.
