• Established the long-term technical vision. Resulted in no attrition over 5 years • Coached engineers to establish a customer centric culture, and quality mindset where everyone was accountable for the quality and usability of the work they delivered • Provided code and architecture reviews for engineers to ensure our systems were easily maintained • Selected and managed outside contractors to augment in-house staffing where hiring didn't align with long-term org strategy • Championed and built early iterations of the CI/CD pipeline leveraging GitHub Actions, AWS CloudFormation, and Rollup.js that allowed 5 teams to maintain 50+ microservices and get new features to production in hours instead of days • Identified parts of our Typescript codebase that could be open-sourced and acted as primary maintainer
