• Technical Lead on a coaching feature leveraging the large Fitbit data set to enable users to find ways to improve their health rather than simply logging data. Assessed and adapted big data, analytics systems to stream process thousands of messages per-second • Started the Weight and Nutrition engineering team. Responsible for the technical roadmap and health of the Weight and Food logging components of Fitbit, including the Mobile APIs and SQL databases • Launched the GuidedGoal Setting onboarding feature, as lead engineer, which included designing a reusable survey system, and complete continuous integration and deployment pipeline on Apache AuroraandMesos • Architected and implemented the new ecommerce system. Led the team responsible for building critical path components like the shopping cart and inventory system.

• Acted as technical lead for several new product launches with a focus on integration with 3rd party printing systems. • Engaged with manufacturing engineers to gather requirements and make improvements to our manufacturing automation systems. • Mentored junior developers both on Vistaprint specific topics as well as engineering best practices such as Unit Testing and software architecture.

• Collaborated with a remote team to design and develop a proprietary printing solution for promotional products. Leveraged the platform for the fastest new product launch in Vistaprint history.

Built and Maintained the Drama/Theatre department website, including building tooling to allow student producers and directors control over webpages for their shows.

Worked within the SELinux team to develop an improved administration application for SELinux management.
