Restless mind, rolling stone. I've worked in higher education, web design, enterprise software, technical writing, and transdisciplinary academic research. I sometimes come across as an ideas man, but I am also very much at home in detail-oriented logistics, community-organizing, and horizontal organizations.
More of an editor than a writer.
My pet interests are new forms of governance, particularly human-centric data governance, critical race theory (i.e., "inclusion with teeth"), linguistics, and what comes after capitalism.

Standards, Open-Source, Internal Communications and Process
I've translated everything from technical manuals, to entire film scripts, to articles in academic research journals, to articles, to poems and novels, mostly from Spanish to English, but also from English to Spanish and from German to English.
Analysis and Systems Admin for a small altcoin holdings firm
Fulltime tenure-track teaching position with lots of administrative and governance work, including edtech research and admin, admissions and finance oversight, program development, and management.
This was a very teaching-intensive short-term position that greatly diversified my experience base as a college instructor, as it was quite different from my teaching experiences prior.
Outside of my home department's wheelhouse (literature, composition, research skills), I also taught Spanish language, film literacy, critical race studies, and history. I digitized a small library collection's card catalog, webmastered for an independent research cluster, trained junior instructors in LMS and founded a pedagogical consortium for GSIs in my department.
