Hello, I am Andrei Jiroh Halili and I am an autistic Filipino with special interests in Linux and backend and CLI apps in JavaScript, specifically on Node.js and Deno runtimes. Although I am mostly a backend dev, I am also willing and even open to learning more skills, especially in DevSecOps and frontend dev in addition to learning more programming languages such as Python and Golang.

I am currently a full-time student and part-time open-source developer at Recap Time Squad (not a company) and a contributor to other projects.

Open Source Developer

Recap Time Squad

Feb 2018 - Present

Recap Time Squad is more than my own home of open-source work; I build and maintain it in my free time outside of being a full-time student. It serves as the hub for other open-source non-software projects I develop and make, among other things. In its current form, I have been doing open-sourcery (for the uninitiated, the art of building and maintaining open-source projects) since 2022 in my free time outside school, although it started way farther than that behind the scenes (see the about page for context). Fiscal sponsorship disclosure: Recap Time Squad is a fiscally-sponsored open source organization under The Hack Foundation (d.b.a Hack Club), a US 501(c)(3) non-profit with EIN 81-2908499. Education: 2

STI College Meycauayan

Bachelor of Science - BS

Jul 2025 - Jun 2029

Currently, I am taking the BS IT course program at STI College Meycauayan, after struggling with getting to Bulacan State University (BulSU) and missing the college applications for a local one in Marilao, Bulacan, due to post-application autistic burnout.

Assemblywoman Felicita G. Bernardino Memorial Trade School

High School Diploma

Jun 2019 - Apr 2025

This is where I spent my high school years after moving to the public school system years before Grade 7. For senior high school, I picked Computer Systems Servicing NC II strand under the Technical Vocational Livelihood track since it is the only IT course available in the school, as well as to learn the basics in network administration and system administration.
