It would be AMAZING if people came out Thursday and showed the ladies some support! It's at Allen, it's Jayhawks basketball, you can park in the AFH Garage with the parking app, tickets are affordable, it's a fantastic time. I'll post a link to tickets when it's live #RockChalk #WBIT #KUWBB

All right, Kansas women's basketball is playing the quarterfinal against 4 seed San Diego State! The game is Thursday evening at Allen Fieldhouse. Most of the games this season have had ~3000 attendance, the first round of this was ~1000, and tonight looks similar to that.

Coach Brandon is signed through 27-28 and S'Mya likes him. Considering the KU Athletics budget woes, I doubt they'd take on the added expense of dumping him early.

Same here. I used to enjoy traveling. With gas prices I don't even want to drive as an alternative.

It's way early obv but Kansas is the top remaining seed, meaning they will play the entirety of the tournament in Kansas if they continue winning. Semis and Final are in Wichita! #WBIT #KUWBB

we're up 22-12 early in the 2nd quarter! Pretty good ball so far. Rice isn't really connecting yet, if they wake up it could mean trouble.

She's doing pretty well! Sounds a little nervous but that's to be expected. Klingler is a real pro and is doing well prompting her. Kansas ladies up 9-6 on the Rice Owls! #RockChalk #KUWBB #WBIT

I read a Michael Zeigler article that said the same thing. Already bad splitting time with Udeh, then Hunter arrived. www.sandiegouniontribune.com/2026/03/21/s...

Ejiofor was a four-star recruit from the class of 2022 who came to a Kansas team that had just won the national championship and was loaded with bigs. He averaged 1.2 points and 1.7 rebounds in 5.1 minutes, splitting minutes off the bench with fellow freshman big Ernest Udeh, a five-star prospect from Orlando.

“Neither one,” Self admitted, “really had a chance to flourish.”

Then 7-1 all-American Hunter Dickinson committed to Kansas from Michigan.

Philachack rented a U-Haul truck, drove the 519 miles from Dallas to Lawrence, Kan., and began cleaning out Ejiofor’s apartment while he was taking a final exam.

That was May 4. By May 5, they were on the road and Ejiofor was in the transfer portal.

Honestly, even though the posted attendance was <1000 for the first round, that game was the loudest one I've been to in two seasons. The people that ARE there are the ones who really care, and the men playing don't impact that. The team seemed to enjoy the noise!
