## About

I'm a Swirish scientist working at https://mother.technology , an XR focused digital healthcare start-up, in Stockholm, Sweden. I am a driven, enthusiastic person with a high motivation to always do my best.

After my Ph.D. on disease mechanisms in premature ageing at KI, I did a postdoc on the stem cell niche. This split into working on the branching morphogenesis of the mammary gland, which branched out into quitting my post-doc to start a deep-tech company using VR for mental health treatments.

It's a long story...

English is my mother-tongue, I also speak Swedish fluently, have good German, and know beagán beag Gaeilge. When not researching, I enjoy Brazilian ju-jitsu (pandemics allowing...), climbing, skiing, photography and microscopy.

## Career

- **Co-CEO // CIO at Mother.** (Oct 2022 - Present)
- **Co-Founder/Co-CEO at Mother.** (Dec 2021 - Oct 2022)
A deep-tech, hard-science, mental health company of neuroscientists, biotechnologists and software engineers. https://mother.technology
- **Lab tech at Karolinska University Hospital** (Apr 2020 - Aug 2020)
Worked nights doing C19 PCR tests, at the lab with the nicest views ever.
- **Doctoral Researcher/Postdoc at Karolinska Institutet (and a bit at the University of Helsinki kind of)** (May 2016 - Jul 2019)
Postdoc that started focusing on lamina and cell morphology, split off into branching morphogenesis and ended prematurely when I left to start-up.
