## About

## Career

- **Senior Software Developer at Strooware Interactive** (Feb 2022 - Feb 2024)
- **Senior Software Developer at Athora Netherlands** (Feb 2022 - Oct 2023)
- **Senior Lead Developer at Cargoguide International** (Sep 2019 - Feb 2022)
At cargoguide my goal was lifting my team up to the next level. My focus was on readability, maintainability and testability of the codebase. To reach this goal we implemented static and manual code analyses and coaching of the team.
- **Senior Lead Developer at PGGM** (Jan 2019 - Aug 2019)
I naturally assumed the role of Team Lead in PGGM.

  Some of my accomplishments:
\* I helped the organization transfer to a GIT minded workflow by providing the knowledge and the mindset and giving a few in-house trainings.
\* I helped inspire a feeling of responsibility with my team for the software we were responsible for. This manifested itself in lots of additional automated tests but mainly in a new mindset of wanting to deliver better software.
- **IT Professional at PGGM** (Aug 2016 - Dec 2018)
My goal at PGGM initially started as blasting some young blood into the organisation and bringing fresh idea's to old software.

  Some key results I managed:
\* I've made it possible to deliver the old monolithic legacy application to PROD every 2 weeks. I've done this by extensively talking to everyone involved and automating the process one step at a time.
\* I helped with getting closer to having all the DevOps roles within the team. First by setting an example and taking the required trainings. And afterward by helping team members to expand their comfort zones.
- **Software Developer at DotControl | Digital Agency** (Aug 2014 - Aug 2016)
At DotControl we develop awesome products for our awesome clients. We strive to make everything we make 110% technically awesome! We do this by incorporation the latest tech and pushing it to it's limit. Some of the things we use are: C#, .NET, Hangfire, Autofac, IoC, REST API's, AngularJS, SignalR and many more.

  My current responsibilities include:
\* Development of new features (and bugs)
\* Testing code and managing the Continues Integration Process
\* Deployment of new code to the production environment
- **Freelancer at Comwave bv** (Sep 2011 - Aug 2014)
At Comwave we helped our customers with all the web-based needs. We gave advice on websites, marketing and email campaigns.

We worked with a in-house developed CMS and mailtool, both written in PHP5, which enabled us to tweak every little detail to tailor it to the needs of our customers.

The front-end was mainly written in plain HTML with CSS, javascript and jQuery. We used these libraries to provide live social media connections with platforms like twitter and facebook.
- **Web Developer at CyberNed Internet Services** (Sep 2009 - Sep 2010)
  Development of web systems.
