Headline: Software Developer at Canyon Runner

## About

I am a hard-working and creative full-stack developer with a penchant for object-oriented programming. Strong believer in data-driven decision making. Good communication is critical in a developer role. I completed the Penn LPS full-stack certification program to improve my skills in server-side development, implementation of databases, and creating responsive web-pages. Since taking the boot-camp, I have enjoyed employing my skill sets to help businesses improve workflows, data processes, and daily operations.

## Experience

- **Software Developer at Canyon Runner** (2025 – present)
- **Software Developer at Jazwares, LLC** (2023 – 2025)
Led backend development of a full-stack ad platform integrating with hundreds of Roblox servers worldwide. Built with Django, Django Rest Framework, Celery, React, and PostgreSQL, the platform enabled the creation, deployment, and analytics tracking of in-game ad campaigns, handling high volumes of real-time interaction data.

Designed and implemented a Django + HTMX-based internal application that streamlined and automated cross-departmental data workflows. The tool replaced time-consuming manual spreadsheet processes, saving hundreds of hours across teams and improving overall data accuracy and efficiency.

Developed and maintained RESTful APIs for various Jazwares branded microsites using Django Rest Framework, supporting regionalization for multiple countries and ensuring high performance and localization flexibility.

Contributed to the development and upkeep of the corporate intranet, including the implementation of data pipelines and integration with enterprise systems like UKG to support HR and operational processes.
- **Application Developer at S&P Global** (2020 – 2023)
Lead developer responsible for helping with migration of systems after S&P acquisition of Private Market Connect.

Developed email automation functionality for business critical communications using Django and supporting Python micro-services, automating the sending of thousands of business requests critical for business workflows. Introduced tracking of outbound email states for accurate reporting.

Reworked business critical data syncs from external API's, reducing sync times from days to hours.

Successfully led development team efforts to modernize and standardize disparate code-bases to lessen developer overhead and development times; improved overall development times as a result and simplified on-boarding process of new developers.

Introduced standardized development workflows and documentation standards by introducing technical specifications and a staging to production life cycle (CI/CD).

Supported, maintained, and developed new functionality for a Laravel (PHP) application. Updated Laravel application versions and all associated external dependencies while ensuring continuity of functionality and user access.

Streamlined and improved a-performant database operations (T-SQL) to scale with growing business demands.

Developed and created deployment pipelines for a new Django application with email processing and tracking functionality.

On-boarded and mentored new developer by creating a new set of training materials.

Reworked business critical data controls in Python and improved overall reporting of detected data discrepancies.

Lessened company dependency on Excel templates.
- **Application Developer at Public Health Management Corporation** (2019 – 2020)
Leveraged such technologies as Netbeans, Java, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, SQL Server 2012, ASP.NET, Maven, Bootstrap, and Hibernate to develop new applications.

Designed and implemented new front-end coding standards to modernize front-end code by introducing ES6+ JavaScript syntax, refactoring functionality into constructors, and reducing global namespace contamination by implementing new module pattern standards.

Facilitated end-to-end application development, writing specifications, documenting database schemas and relationships, and creating wire-frames. Met with businesses on a weekly basis to demonstrate progress and new functionality.

Proactively detected and repaired security vulnerabilities.

Provided code maintenance and application support.
- **Research Specialist & Lab Manager at University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine** (2017 – 2019)
Managed a small lab of three to seven people by training new incoming members, maintaining the inventory of supplies, and providing members guidance and resources to keep experiments progressing. Collaborated with neighboring labs and lab-members on experiments and project design. Presented data at departmental conferences and meetings. As a founding member of the lab implemented task-management and inventory management software.

  Key Accomplishments:
  • Led start-up efforts during the founding of the lab; ordering all necessary supplies and equipment, and assigning necessary training to members to get to operational status on time.
  • Implemented inventory management software to improve inventory tracking and accountability.
- **Research Technician at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia** (2016 – 2017)
Maintained and documented the expansion of mouse colonies. Performed various assays on both mouse cells and human leukemia cell-lines. Ensured the lab was up to safety standards.

  Key Accomplishments:
  • Elucidated novel binding partners of our protein-of-interest.
  • Created and documented new experimental protocols.
- **Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at Penn State University** (2014 – 2015)
Presented lectures and important topics to students. Guided student-groups through their experiments. Maintained grades for all students.

  Key Accomplishments:
  • Ensured all students understood materials presented in-order to pass the course.
