## About

## Experience

- **Developer Scientist at AURA AERO** (2024 – present)
Rust back-end development for aircraft configuration management: from technical scoping to production deployment of micro-services on AWS/Kubernetes:

  • Design and development of asynchronous Rust micro-services (tokio, tonic, async-graphql, rayon, pyO3) following DDD principles and hexagonal architecture, including specification of GraphQL and gRPC interface contracts.
  • Design and optimisation of graph traversal and construction algorithms, with benchmarking and profiling in pure Rust.
  • Implementation of service observability via OpenTelemetry, standardised and deployed across multiple projects.
- **PhD Student in Cloud Application Architecture and Performance at Orange** (2018 – 2021)
Research Topic: "Anticipating Web Application Performances in a Cloud environment"
CNRS-LAAS / Université de Toulouse III - Paul Sabatier

  • Studied Cloud-Application specific performance issues, distributed systems monitoring, and modelled with Graph Theory concepts.
  • Designed a trace processing pipeline based on Kubernetes, Linkerd and OpenTelemetry.
  • Modeled tracing data as Property Graphs with Scala, Gremlin and Neo4j.
  • Scientific writing for academic and industry.
- **Cloud Engineer (Backend Developer & DevOps) at Ubisoft Bordeaux** (2022 – 2024)
Go back-end services development: design, production deployment, and operational maintenance of Game Streaming / Cloud Gaming services within Ubisoft's live services.

  • Design and development of REST and WebSocket APIs for orchestrating cloud machines dedicated to gaming, including Kubernetes operators.
  • User load modelling on Cloud Gaming servers: formalisation of a predictive model, valorisation for Research (CIR) and integration into the Ubisoft ecosystem.
  • Customisation of OpenTelemetry collectors for production application monitoring.
  • Setup of CI/CD pipelines via GitLab CI, with automated deployment on AWS (Terraform).
  • Collaboration within an international agile team in full-remote.
- **Cybersecurity Engineer at ITrust SA** (2016 – 2018)
Technical member of the Security Operation Center team working on integration and deployment of ITrust SOC solution:

  DevOps missions:
  • SIEM and SOC design based on Open-Source components integration (Rsyslog, Logstash, Graylog Elasticsearch, OSSEC, TheHive/Cortex).
  • Specifying and implementing a Micro-services log processing architecture via Docker (Docker containers images creation and Docker swarm setup and deployment).
  • Development of some ElastAlert Alerting modules (Python, Elasticsearch, REST API).
  • Development of Threat-intelligence module and middleware for integrating the ITrust SOC product (Go, BoltDB, REST API, Python, TheHive/Cortex).
  • Dimensioning and deployment of Graylog 2 and Elasticsearch clusters.
  • Client support.

  Cybersecurity missions:
  • Security analysis report redaction
  • Parser creation for logs with Logstash (Windows logs, Cisco logs, Linux logs, Symantec logs).
  • Security alerts creation with Elastalert
- **Apprentice Engineer on Verification & Validation means for avionic software at Airbus Group** (2012 – 2015)
In apprenticeship in the service dedicated to the avionic software Verification and Validation means used to certify embedded computers DO178B. Daily missions: managing outsourced activity, provide Risk Analysis reports on COTS means and guarantee their operational maintenance.

  Projects managed during apprenticeship:

  • (1st Year) Management of a park of means used for the Verification, Validation of the avionic software with the DO178B certification environment on DAL A, B, C and E embedded computers.
  • (2nd Year) Creation of a network dedicated to obsolete means running Windows XP in aim to segregate them from the core IT infrastructure to allow its evolutions: redaction of matrix flow.
  • (3rd Year) Verification & Validation lifecycle study in the avionic software department considering the automation capabilities and cost, and the development practices such as Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Model-Based System Engineering.
