## About

Curious kid with an architectural mindset, combining software architecture and interaction design to work on digital organisations, systems, platforms and products. Currently focussed on transforming organisations (alive, decentralised and agile) through digital modelling as to industrialise software (predictability, quality and scale).

We are living through the complete convergence of offline and online as this digital revolution advances. As we shape this transformation, we carry responsibility for the profound impact of its outcome.

I want my life’s work to have contributed to a more just, sustainable, free and vibrant world for all. I hope to achieve this by creating systems that treat all humans with respect, are interoperable and agile, open and distributed, sustainable and thus a positive contribution to progress. I enjoy exploring and solving meaningful, complex and unconventional problems in diverse environments by fostering people.

Global perspective. Local actuation. Nomadic spirit.

- **Head of Design at Gumbuya Inc.** (Oct 2014 - Aug 2017)
Gumbuya is a semantic computing platform to build and run applications on a semantic graph. A fundamentally different paradigm, it allows for an industrialised software build approach making the long tail of SaaS applications feasible: Like constructing a building, an architect creates a model together with the domain experts. This model is a bill of materials and allows for straight-forward assembled by IT resources—compared to traditional approaches, where a spec has to be interpreted by craftspeople.

This approach lowers cost and time to market and increases predictability, consistency, reliability and flexibility. Gumbuya has built the platform from ground-up, created tooling, methodology and service offering to deliver client projects.

Working as a team, I lead and/or am heavily involved in: – UI/UX design: Our SaaS platform and tooling, customer products – Product design: Customers products from inception to modelling, to delivery – Development of our industrialised build methodology – Product management of the platform’s analytics capability – Design & content: Go-to-market materials like website, pitches, templates, etc. – Onboarding and training for partners and customers – Technical sales support
